HAKA Platform

The shared foundation behind the HAKA suite

HAKA Platform is the shared technical foundation the HAKA applications are built on. Each application stays specialised for its field; all of them rely on common foundations, which avoids rebuilding security, traceability or integrations separately for every product.

Why a shared foundation

Building a coherent suite, not isolated software

Without a shared foundation, each application rebuilds the same groundwork in its own way. Gaps accumulate, security and traces become inconsistent, and every change costs more. HAKA Platform addresses this.

  • Avoiding technical silos

Without a common foundation, each product reinvents authentication, roles or document handling. The foundation shares these building blocks.

  • Consistency across the suite

Applications share the same principles of security, traceability and integration, for a more homogeneous experience from one product to the next.

  • Security built in by design

Access, audit and isolation mechanisms are designed at the foundation level, rather than added product by product after the fact.

  • Improvements that compound

A capability proven in one application can be consolidated into the foundation and reused, instead of being rewritten each time.

Shared capabilities

Six families of shared capabilities

HAKA Platform brings together cross-cutting capabilities that applications activate according to their field. They are presented here by their benefit, not their technical detail.

  • Identity and access management

Know who accesses what, and control it according to each person's responsibilities.

    • Authentication and secure sign-in
    • Roles and rights based on responsibilities
    • Separation of organisations (multi-tenant)
    • Optional reinforcement with multi-factor authentication
  • Business workflows

Structure processes into clear steps, with validations and tracking of responsibilities.

    • Structured steps and field-specific rules
    • Validations and approval flows
    • Status and responsibility tracking
  • Documents and media

Manage expected documents and attachments, with controlled storage.

    • Upload and controlled cloud storage
    • Document generation (PDF)
    • Access to documents based on rights
  • Audit and traceability

Keep a history of significant actions to support governance and trust.

    • Log of actions (who, what, when)
    • History of changes
    • Events useful for security and governance
  • Notifications and multilingual communication

Inform the right people, in the right language, through the channels each application activates.

    • Notifications tied to operations
    • Personalised messages from templates
    • Language-aware communication, channels activated per product
  • Cloud and integrations

Deploy, connect and evolve the applications progressively.

    • Containerised applications, deployable to the cloud
    • Secure service-to-service communication
    • Structured external integrations, monitoring and evolution

Not every application activates every capability, or to the same degree: each draws on the foundations suited to its scope.

In service of the applications

How the applications benefit

HAKA applications are not isolated products: each combines the shared foundations according to its field. The examples below are indicative, not an exhaustive list of active features.

Built to evolve

An architecture that compounds and strengthens

The foundation follows a simple principle: start from shared foundations, adapt them to the field, deliver an experience specific to each application, then improve the whole continuously.

  1. Shared foundations

The common capabilities — identity, workflows, documents, audit, communication, cloud — form a proven base to build on.

  2. Adaptation to the field

Each application configures and extends these foundations according to the rules and needs of its sector.

  3. Experience specific to the application

Users get a specialised application, consistent with the rest of the suite, without unnecessary complexity.

  4. Continuous improvement

What one application learns consolidates the foundation, which progressively benefits the others and makes adding new applications easier.

Security and governance

A base designed for trust

Security and governance are addressed at the foundation level. The mechanisms below are implemented according to the scope of each application.

  • Access control

Roles and permissions based on responsibilities, with logical separation of organisations and optional reinforcement of authentication.

  • Traceability

Logging of significant actions to support governance, responsibility tracking and incident analysis.

  • Controlled storage and data

Document and data handling with controlled access and sound configuration and secret-management practices.

  • Cloud and quality practices

Containerised deployment, secure service-to-service communication, validations and automated tests accompany the foundation's evolution.

HAKA Platform is designed with high security and confidentiality requirements. The regulatory requirements specific to each sector must be validated case by case; no compliance or certification is presented as acquired at this stage.

For organisations

What it changes in practice

Beyond the technology, a shared foundation delivers tangible benefits to organisations adopting one or more HAKA applications.

  • A more consistent experience

Common principles from one application to the next reduce surprises and make onboarding easier.

  • Easier adoption

Shared foundations and familiar cues help teams build confidence more smoothly.

  • Built-in security

Access, traceability and isolation are designed at the foundation level, according to each application's scope.

  • Sustainable evolution

Proven capabilities are reused and consolidated, which supports the suite's evolution over time.

Maturity and scope

Where HAKA Platform stands

  • The foundation is already materialised by several shared capabilities observable across the suite's applications.
  • Its cross-cutting alignment is ongoing: building blocks proven in one application are progressively consolidated for the whole.
  • Not every application uses every capability yet, nor at the same level of integration.
  • The foundation evolves with the products; some building blocks remain in consolidation.

HAKA Platform is not an additional application, nor an offer sold separately: it is the shared foundation used to build and evolve the HAKA applications.
